A Successful Career Fair at the Terrace Campus
On March 13, students converged on Waap Amgam for the annual Career Fair at the Terrace Campus. More than 20 businesses and organizations set up tables there to talk about employment opportunities and support. The event was a massive success, with students filling the halls for the entire three hours. Everyone who participated enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and free refreshments.



CMTN Students Compete in WACE Global Challenge
This year, four CMTN students participated in the 12th World Association for Co-operative and Work-Integrated Education (WACE) global challenge, which ran from January 27 to February 21. Competing alongside students from across the globe, they worked to address the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Their cross-cultural, multidisciplinary teams worked as consultants for real companies and organizations worldwide to help them meet one of the SDGs. During the competition, they spent 30 to 40 hours completing online workshops, the three-week project, and a final presentation.
Participants reflected that taking part in the challenge enhanced their understanding of sustainable business practices and ethics.

Information Technology – Systems Administration and Networking Diploma Program

Looking to bring your technology skills to the next level? Are you interested in cloud technology, cybersecurity, or programing? CMTN’s new two-year Information Technology Diploma Program covers all of that and more.
Study alongside industry professionals in this hands-on learning experience. This program covers server, cloud, and network management for both Windows and Linux, as well as cybersecurity and databases.
At the end of their first year, students participate in a work experience program where they can apply what they’ve learned in a real-life situation. This program is offered in partnership with Vancouver Island University (VIU) and the resulting diploma is received from VIU.
