Conditions

• The hotels mentioned above will only be confirmed based on availability at the time of booking. If unavailable, suitable alternatives will be suggested before confirmation.

• The consumption of alcohol on “Poya Days” (Buddhist full moon days) is prohibited by law in Sri Lanka. Bars, clubs, and entertainment establishments will not serve alcohol. Clients are advised to check with their hotel reception for specific regulations during their stay.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations within 1 to 6 days of arrival – 100% of the booking value will be charged.

• Cancellations within 7 to 13 days of arrival – 50% of the booking value will be charged.

• Cancellations within 14 to 28 days of arrival – 25% of the booking value will be charged.

• Cancellations beyond 30 days of arrival – The cancellation policy will be decided by the hotel on a case-by-case basis.

Visa Requirements

Visit www.eta.gov.lk to apply for a visa.

• The visa is initially valid for 30 days from the date of arrival and can be extended for up to six months by contacting the Department of Immigration and Emigration.

• Singapore and Maldives passport holders are eligible for visa-on-arrival and do not need to apply in advance.

Climate and Seasons

• The lowlands of Sri Lanka have a tropical climate with an average temperature of 27°C in Colombo.

• In higher elevations, temperatures can drop to 16°C.

• Bright and sunny days are common, even during the monsoon season.
